Jungle integrates consultancy Prodigioso Volcán and reinforces its positioning in strategic transformation and narrative
The acquisition of the company founded by Mario Tascón and María Moya in 2010 consolidates Jungle's offering in high-complexity projects. The ecosystem expects to reach revenues of 90 million euros in 2026.

Jungle acquires Prodigioso Volcán, a company specializing in cultural transformation, communication, design, narrative, and content. The transaction is part of the group's inorganic growth plan and reinforces its ability to tackle complex challenges in constantly changing environments.
Founded in 2010 by María Moya and Mario Tascón, a key figure in the development of digital journalism and a reference in digital communication transformation, Prodigioso Volcán has established itself as a firm specializing in corporate and editorial communication and transformation in high-complexity scenarios, combining journalistic rigor, design, and technology. The company develops projects for clients including Iberdrola, Fundación La Caixa, Novartis, and Telefónica.
This transaction enables Jungle to compete in strategic communication projects, incorporating key specialization in narrative. 'Prodigioso Volcán brings prestige at a time when it's increasingly important for companies to communicate with rigor in complex environments. It's an integration consistent with our growth approach, based on adding specialization in key areas,' explains Agustín Vivancos, CEO of Jungle. The transaction was advised by Grant Thornton, law firm Pérez-Llorca, and Jungle's internal M&A team, which leads the execution of its inorganic growth strategy.
Prodigioso Volcán's majority shareholders, María Moya, Jorge Martín-Luengo, and Antonio Pasagali, will continue leading the project. María Moya, co-founder of the firm, will remain at the helm of Prodigioso Volcán and assume the company's presidency; Martín-Luengo will continue as executive business director, and Antonio Pasagali continues as executive creative director. Carolina Miyata takes on the role of general director of the company.
'This integration allows us to take our understanding of communication to a much larger scale, without compromising our identity. Jungle is the perfect partner for us to grow without losing what makes us unique,' in the words of María Moya, president of Prodigioso Volcán.
Jungle, a BCorp-certified company, achieved total revenues of 60 million euros last year, a 49% increase over the previous fiscal year, and following this acquisition, expects to reach 90 million in 2026. Prodigioso Volcán is the sixth company integrated into Jungle in the last two years, following the acquisition of Rocket, a company specializing in technology and digital marketing.
