The Reina Sofía School of Music composes a piece inspired by Jungle’s financial results
Jungle, a strategic consultancy that combines creativity, design, and technology, presents its annual report in an unprecedented format: a symphony inspired by its 2024 milestones, results, and integrations.
Titled “Business for Your Ears”, the project was conceived and developed by Casa Jungle —the company’s in-house creative team— in collaboration with the Reina Sofía School of Music. The 14-minute piece, divided into three movements, reinterprets Jungle’s evolution, decisions, and transformations through a symphonic language.
The composition, created by Carlos Criado (composer and conductor) and conducted by Pedro Alfaro, musician and director of Musical Thinkers, translates Jungle’s financial analysis into music through three movements that reflect the company’s journey.
Results captures Jungle’s growth through metrics such as revenue, profitability, and expansion, incorporating rhythmic patterns inspired by a music workshop in which the Jungle team participated.
Integrations represents the incorporation of four new companies into the consultancy through a score of stylistic contrasts —from dodecaphony to jazz with controlled improvisations— illustrating each firm’s unique identity.
Finally, Key Milestones follows a chronological narrative of 2024’s most relevant moments —account wins, strategic projects, and new talent— combining corporate storytelling and musical composition to create a cohesive and narrative closing movement.
The piece was performed by Eleutheria, a septet composed of musicians from the Reina Sofía School of Music associated with Jungle’s musical patronage program: Gustavo Gil (violin), Jimena Rojas (violin), Hugo Hidalgo (viola), María Salvatori (cello), Nelson Jiménez (double bass), Óscar Tapie (trumpet), and Mariam Chitanava (piano).
The recording took place in the School’s auditorium, reinforcing the collaboration between both institutions and highlighting Jungle’s commitment to talent and musical culture.
The project also includes a documentary that narrates the creative challenge through the voices of its protagonists, filmed at the Reina Sofía School of Music and directed by Manuel Zafra, which portrays the symphony in a visual format and serves as a teaser.
A 128-page book, divided into two sections, gathers Jungle’s milestones alongside the complete musical score and includes a CD with the recording of the symphony.
The edition was printed in offset on 120-gram cream and green paper, bound in thread-sewn paperback with black cloth spine, and covered in lime-green Gematex fabric with black stamping. The hardback book measures 200 x 260 mm.
Additionally, all three pieces are featured in a YouTube video where the score is translated into an Excel sheet —each cell representing a musical note— symbolizing the convergence between financial analysis and music.
The initiative was conceived and executed by Casa Jungle, Jungle’s in-house creative agency, specialized in applying creativity across the company’s corporate touchpoints. Founded in March 2024 and led by the creative duo Xosé Rodríguez and Gema Díaz, Casa Jungle aims to position Jungle as a culturally relevant brand, even within the corporate sphere.
“Business for Your Ears” reinforces this mission: to make corporate communication a space where creativity plays a strategic and transformative role.
