TRUE, Jungle21’s PR agency will manage the communication of the emblematic W Hotel in Barcelona after winning a competition in which four agencies participated. The first phase will be the creation of a platform that will promote the brand’s priorities: design, art, music, gastronomy, sports, and mixology.
W Barcelona, an architectural landmark built by Ricardo Bofill in 2009, is a national and international hotel icon. TRUE’s strategy is to enhance the hotel’s experiences -spa, gastronomic proposals, restaurant and cocktail bar, night club-, amplify the broad cultural ecosystem that is already part of the city and promote the vision of the hotel as an experience in itself.
“Giving relevance to a space that is already an icon of the city of Barcelona is a challenge, but, at the same time, it is a spectacular moment to be part of the revival of culture and life in general in a place as incredible as this,” according to Ana Zumalacarregui, general manager of TRUE.
The W Barcelona team at TRUE will be composed of a total of four people working between Madrid and Barcelona and will report to the marketing department of the W. Currently, TRUE works with clients such as McDonald’s, Hendrick’s, Corona, Budweiser, JustEat, or Grupo MásMóvil.
